Depending on the model that you choose, there will be a variation in the spare parts as well. Just go through all the machines and then choose the one you like.

Taking complete care of it:

In terms of prices, industrial machines are quite expensive when compared to the ones used at home. Therefore, it is mandatory to take care of the machines from time to time, if you don’t want to buy another one too soon.

For that, following some simple cleaning steps will help you out a lot. These sewing machines are mostly used in factories and there are a lot still in circulation.

They are mainly heavy duty machines and used for light to medium-heavy fabrics like home décor fabrics, leather and more. These are sturdy mechanical sewing machines. So, with a right care, these machines can last for a long time.

Cleaning a heavy duty industrial sewing machine:

It is more or less easy to access areas that you want to clean on this machine. For that, you just need a couple of flat head screwdrivers.

At first, you have to tilt the machine back to get to the bobbin area. This one will have a tangle of the thread also known as bobbin bird’s nest.

When you start sewing using this machine, remember to hold onto threads for the first couple of the stitches. If you don’t, you might end up with a thread nest easily.

For the next steps:

For your next steps of cleaning and maintaining Yamato Industrial Machine Parts, you have to open the slide plate.

Here, you have to remove the needle, needle plate and presser foot for cleaning this area. If you want, you can further remove the feed dogs by just taking out those two screws to the left of the feed dogs.

If you maintain the machine better and clean it from time to time, this area won’t be that dusty at the end.

Now comes the face plate:

For the next stop, you have to focus toward the faceplate. It is located right on the front. You have to clean this area.

Normally, people will use little lint brush for this purpose, but some models might use the wick system and oil pump for letting oil flow to some parts of the machines automatically.

Even though it comprises multiple built-up, this area tends to be quite slimy. So, it is better to use paper towels and q-tips for cleaning the areas well.

You have to clean the area just behind the faceplate. You will see a braided coil around the presser bar. It is a part of the wick system, which will help oil to circulate around the machine.

The panel on top:

Don’t forget to remove the panel on top of the machine by a hand wheel. Ensure that the gasket is in proper shape. It if is oily or discolored, then you have to change it for another one.

You will find paper gasket first and then cork gasket between the sewing machine and oil pan. If you have to replace any of that, you can get the parts online. Go through each part of the machine separately and get those clean on time.
